Winter Rehabs

I feel so very blessed to have all these late hatchling babies to take care of over this coming Winter.  They warm my heart every time I look at them. I wiil enjoy every precious moment that they are under my care and I look forward to releasing them back into their rightful place in Nature next Spring.

This is how much I LOVE turtles!

Annual tradition

For 35 years now, my hubby has to take a canoe ride every Thanksgiving morning.  Years ago before we hosted he would go on the Esopus Creek up in Saugerties up at our family friends the Blake's home.  This year we were blessed to have our oldest son home, so the two of them went at first.  I also went out to look at one of the 3 Beaver houses.  Poor Montman was frantic running down the shore to follow me.  He is such a silly dog.  We have a wonderful TG at my son Derek's home.  Nice that I had the time to get out on the annual canoe ride.  Lots of blessings to be thankful for this past year.

Grateful

I just want to say: I AM GRATEFUL TO BE ALIVE.
