And I missed it! Last night we had showers and it was 57 degrees and a low of 25. It didn't stop the Spotted Salamanders from coming out en mass! Today there are thousands of Spermotrophids filling the vernal pool and even some in the pond of the County Park. I've never seen so much evidence of activity in all the years I've been monitoring that Pool. There are a few Wood Frogs calling and Spring Peepers. I plan on getting out tonight to just look in the pools and see if I can't spot a couple Spotteds.
Pictures of Lily, Eli & Ellie. I'm addicted to watching them on the cam.
